The final mix

An end mix means the mixing of recordings towards an end product, with the use of our skills and experience . these recording may be produced at our place or elsewhere, on a different recording system. There should be no problem to transfer recordings from another format or systems to our system.

Before the end mix is made, we always make one or two so-called “rough mixes” for the musicians to listen to and make comments and notes for the definitive mix. In this way everyone gets involved and is maximally prepared for the final result.

BE AWARE that the end mix is the final definitive phase. It is therefore very important! So, notify us in advance, for example when commenting on the rough mixes, of your idea of a good sound and even bring us an example of it on a favourite CD of yours.

*************************************

If you are invited to participate in the end mix, we advise you to leave at least a few days between the recording and the definitive end mix, in order to be able to listen with an objective ear.

At least one or two sound engineers will be present at the end mix (included in the price). The final mix will be burned onto a master-CD with  a copy in our computer. It is ready to be mastered for CD production/printing.

Every group, ensemble, orchestra receives a copy of the end mix on CD.
