Yannick Heeren
Yannick manages the studio. He owns it and tunes the instruments.
His education as a piano tuner and piano-technician completed, he adds an all round music training at Jazz studio in Antwerp (Belgium) to his classical piano study. His vast all-round activities in different bands and music styles make him an experienced keyboard player: Funk, Rap, Soul, Smooth Jazz, Bossa Nova, Pop, Rocks... Cole Porter (Rapshody in Blue), Monty Alexander, Duke Ellington, Ravel and Debussy, Yes, Dream theatre, Stevie wonder.... are his marks.
Not surprisingly, he now explores the musical path of traditional, New Orleans stride-Jazz. His thorough knowledge of the acoustic and digital piano playing of music-and digitalization is a great asset in the recordings of the studio.
